Jarib LLC respects your privacy. This Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have.

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

• Identification: name, email, phone number (optional), country.
• Preferences: answers to our 30-question intake form (brands, budget, wishlist items, notification preferences).
• Payment: card details are entered directly into Stripe Elements and never transit our servers. We only store the Stripe customer ID and the last four digits of the card.
• Technical: IP address, user-agent, basic device data, session cookies.

3. Why we use it

• to provide and personalise deal alerts (contract);
• to bill the monthly subscription and process device purchases (contract);
• to comply with U.S. tax, anti-fraud and KYC obligations (legal obligation);
• to improve the Service (legitimate interest);
• to send service announcements (legitimate interest) and marketing only if you opt in (consent).

4. Sharing

We share the minimum necessary data with:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing;
• SendGrid / Postmark — transactional email (if used);
• Third-party retailers — only after you authorise us to place an order on your behalf.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

5. Retention

We keep funnel answers for as long as your subscription is active and for 24 months after cancellation, for accounting and dispute resolution. Payment metadata is kept for the period required by U.S. tax law (currently 7 years).

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (GDPR/CCPA where it applies), you may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Send the request to support@jarib.com; we respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for the session and CSRF protection. We do not use third-party analytics or marketing cookies on this domain.

8. Security

The site is served over TLS. Card data goes directly to Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1). Internal storage uses encrypted JSON files with restrictive permissions; access is limited to founders and the on-call engineer.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes

If we materially change this Policy we will notify you at least 14 days in advance by email.
